Using the American Tobacco Parking Deck

NOTICE: We currently do not have any more gate cards for the American Tobacco Parking Deck. Please call 919-485-RIDE (7433) to be put on our waiting list.

The American Tobacco North Parking Deck is a convenient park-and-ride opportunity for those who live in Durham and work in Raleigh or Chapel Hill. To use the deck, follow these 3 steps:

1. Complete a Monthly Access Card and Parking Individual Contract

No Cards available at this time. Please call 919-485-RIDE (7433) to be put on the wait list.

2. Submit Your Completed Form & $15 Deposit

Bring your completed agreement to Triangle Transit Customer Service, located at the Regional Transit Center, between 7 A.M. and 6:20 P.M. Monday-Friday or 8 A.M. and 5 P.M. on Saturday. You will also be required to pay a refundable $15 deposit for the gate card. You can pay your deposit by cash, check, or credit card (Visa or MasterCard).

You can also mail your completed contract form and $15 deposit check to:

NOTE: Please Note: Parkers will receive notification if their Access Card has not been used for 120 days. Access Cards shall be deactivated 30 days following notification if the parker has not contacted Triangle Transit.

3. Begin using your card to access the Parking Deck!

Wave your access card by the card reader as you enter the deck. The gate will lift to let your car through.

Where to Board

The stop to Board the Express Bus is about a 15-20 second walk from the parking deck.

Where Can I Park My Bike at American Tobacco?

Just inside the gate where cars enter from Pettigrew Street, there is a covered bike rack a short walk from the street.
