This service change would have the following effects on the current Route 301:

  • Would serve stops in Perimeter Park and new stops at the Morrisville Outlet Mall
  • Would no longer serve stops along Copley Pkwy or any stops north of Emperor Blvd.

Please note that timings are still being performed for this potential re-routing and that all changes are subject to approval by the Triangle Transit Board of Trustees. A schedule has yet to be developed for the proposed route, but service would be provided every 30 minutes during peak commute times in both directions.

Feedback Opportunities

Triangle Transit staff is collecting feedback about the potential re-routing and stop locations of Route 301 until September 5th. There are four ways to provide feedback:

  • Attend an Open House meeting scheduled in Perimeter Park: Date: Friday, August 22nd, Time: Noon-1:00pm, Location: The Duke Conference Center, 3005 Carrington Mill Boulevard, Suite 125, Morrisville, NC
  • Leave a message with one of the service planners at 485-PLAN

Express Route 500

  • Add a trip departing the N Columbia at Franklin St stop at 6:30am
  • Add a trip departing Wilmington St at Martin St stop at 5:30pm
  • Adjust departure time of 5:40pm trip from Wilmington St at Martin St stop to 5:45pm
  • Adjust departure time of 6:10pm trip from Wilmington St at Martin St stop to 6:15pm

Express Route 550

  • Add a trip departing the Wilmington St at Martin St stop at 7:30am
  • Add a trip departing the N Columbia St at Franklin St stop at 4:15pm

Express Route 600

  • Add a trip departing the Morgan St at DATA Terminal stop at 7:37am
  • Add a trip departing the Wilmington St at Martin St stop at 4:45pm

Express Route 650

  • Add a trip departing the Wilmington St at Martin St stop at 6:37am
  • Add a trip departing the Duke Hospital stop at 3:45pm
