Triangle Transit Service Changes Effective March 3, 2008

Research Triangle Park, N.C. Service on some Triangle Transit Authority routes will change next month. The changes, approved by the Board of Trustees, will occur on Monday, March 3:
Route 311 (Apex to RTP)
- A slight change in route to serve parts of Kit Creek Rd. and Louis Stephens Dr.
- Additional stops: Louis Stephens Dr at Cisco Bldg 12 and Louis Stephens Dr at Credit Suisse
Route 500 (Chapel Hill to Raleigh Express)
- Adding a trip departing the Wilmington St at Martin St stop at 4:05 PM
- Adjusting the departure time of the 5:10 PM trip from the Wilmington St at Martin St stop to 5:15 PM
- Eliminating the trip departing the Wilmington St at Martin St stop at 6:50 PM
- Additional stops at Meredith College (Faircloth St at Brookwood Dr)
Route 550 (Raleigh to Chapel Hill Express)
- Adding a trip departing the N Columbia St at Franklin St stop at 4:00 PM
- Adjusting the departure time of the 6:10 PM trip from the N Columbia St at Franklin St stop from 6:10 PM to 6:20 PM
- Eliminating the trip departing the N Columbia St at Franklin St stop at 6:40 PM
- Additional stops at Meredith College (Faircloth St at Brookwood Dr).
Route 570 (Night Service between Raleigh and Chapel Hill)
- Adding a stop at the TTA Transfer Center at RTP
- Raleigh-bound buses will stop at the Transfer Center at 7:49, 9:09, and 10:29 PM
- Chapel Hill-bound buses will stop at the Transfer Center at 8:00, 9:20 and 10:40 PM
Route 600 (Durham to Raleigh Express)
- Additional stops at Meredith College (Faircloth St at Brookwood Dr)
Route 650 (Raleigh to Durham Express)
- Additional stops at Meredith College (Faircloth St at Brookwood Dr)
All departure times are based on estimated travel times. It is recommended that riders be at the suggested bus stop at least 5 minutes before the estimated departure time.
Triangle Transit has postponed a decision on the relocation of its bus transfer center.
